Since leaving the Office of the Attorney General in 1975, Bill has practiced almost exclusively in the area of family law, representing clients in dissolution of marriage actions, focusing on those with complex financial issues, including business ownership and professionals in private practice.

Biography

Bill has practiced family law since 1975. In addition to his private practice, he has served as a Judge Pro Tem in Thurston County Superior Court, Thurston County District Court and City of Olympia Municipal Court. Prior to 1975, Bill was an Assistant Attorney General for the Washington State Office of the Attorney General from 1973 to 1975. Brian M. Barnes

Brian's primary area of practice includes all aspects of Family Law. He was previously certified as a guardian ad litem for minor children. In addition, Brian handles cases involving wills, probate and estate planning.

Biography

Brian has been licensed to practice law in the State of Washington since 1995. He has worked in private practice throughout his legal career. In addition, Brian currently serves as a Pro Tem Court Commissioner at Thurston County Family and Juvenile Court. Brian also is an Adjunct Professor at South Puget Sound Community College, teaching the domestic relations course in the paralegal program.  Read more
