Since leaving the Office of the Attorney General in 1975, Bill has practiced almost exclusively in the area of family law, representing clients in dissolution of marriage actions, focusing on those with complex financial issues, including business ownership and professionals in private practice.
Biography
Bill has practiced family law since 1975. In addition to his private practice, he has served as Judge Pro Tem in Thurston County Superior Court, Thurston County District Court, and City of Olympia Municipal Court. Prior to 1975, Bill was an Assistant Attorney General for the Washington State Office of the Attorney General from 1973 to 1975. He also served as a staff attorney and then as a consultant to the Washington State Senate. Bill is an AV rated attorney with Martindale-Hubbell, which identifies a lawyer with preeminent legal ability, reflecting a high degree of integrity and dedication to the legal profession.

Bill graduated from Western Washington University in 1970 where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with minors in Economics, Psychology/Sociology, and History. He graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law with his Juris Doctor in 1973.
